Online financial management - Services like Mint.com
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 3:51PM I would really love to be able to use Mint. I like the idea of a platform-agnostic budget and financial management app that can automatically talk to your bank and retrieve your banking transaction history and munge it to present it in different ways to gain an easy to understand view of where your last pay check went. This idea terrifies a lot of people, but it appeals to me.
There are a bunch of services that offer this type of functionality. Mint.com is probably the most famous, it has a great iPhone version but isn't available to those unfortunate souls who live outside of the USA. What are some of the Mint.com equivalents? I'm gathering a list, so post your suggestions, experiences and recommendations in the comments. I've contacted the services below and will post full details of Australian bank details that are supported by these apps as soon as I hear from them.
I have accounts with several banks, many of which are beginning to be supported by some of these services. I'm most keen to find a good service that also supports ING Direct in Australia. If someone can find me a service that speaks to ING...there'll be a prize. Cheers.
